Subscription Cancellation Policy
How to stop an App Store subscription from renewing and what happens to access and credits.
Effective date: 1 September 2026
1. App Store subscriptions
Manage or cancel a Vivarium subscription in the Apple ID subscription settings. Cancellation stops the next renewal; it does not reverse a payment already processed. Refund requests are handled separately under the Refund and Dispute Policy.
Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. Access included in that period remains available until then, unless the account is restricted for misuse or law requires otherwise.
2. Remaining credits
Cancellation stops future renewals at the end of the current paid term. Subscription benefits remain available through that term; no further monthly credits are granted after it ends, and unused credits already in the account remain available.
Credits are limited, non-transferable service units used only for Vivarium generation services. They are not money, cannot be withdrawn or transferred between users, and have no cash value.
3. Renewal control
Contacting Vivarium does not change Apple’s renewal controls. Use the Apple ID subscription settings to confirm that auto-renewal is turned off.
Apple determines the billing status and exact effective date shown for an App Store subscription.
